From bakes sales to the ice bucket challenge, Kwik Fit Insurance Services employees helped to raise a total of £34,050.81 in 2014.
We are delighted to announce that our employees here at Kwik Fit Insurance Services have raised £34,050.81 for Macmillan Cancer Support in 2014. Macmillan Cancer Support was our company-wide nominated charity for last year and the £34,000 raised within KFIS was added to a further £62,000 raised by our parent company Ageas meaning employees based across the whole of the UK raised a grand total of £97,000.
From leg waxing to bake sales and even the now infamous ice bucket challenge. Macmillan Cancer Support provides practical, emotional and financial support for people with cancer and pushes for better cancer care. The charity is a source of support, helping with all the things that people affected by cancer want and need, and also supports carers, families, friends, colleagues and communities.
Last year Ageas gave employees the option to join the ‘Pennies from Heaven’ scheme. Pennies from Heaven is the UK’s largest and most established brand in small change employee giving and is a simple way for employees to make an individual difference by donating the spare pennies from their monthly net pay. This scheme will continue throughout 2015 and we hope to turn those pennies into pounds for such a great cause!
For 2015 we’re delighted to announce our staff have nominated the NSPCC as our partner and we look to raising money for this fantastic children’s charity.
