We are delighted to announce that we scooped the award for "Digital Initiative of the Year" at the British Insurance Awards. We stood out from the crowd based on the improvements we have made to our online customer journey.
In addition to this award we have also been shortlisted for two further insurance industry awards; the E-Broking category at the UK Broker Awards and for the Best Use of Technology to Improve End-client Experience at the upcoming Insurance Times Technology Awards both taking place in London in September.
Our parent organistation Ageas walked away with four awards at the BIAs in total including the top award for ‘General Insurer of the Year’, due to the company’s performance, results and customer service initiatives. This is the third time Ageas has won this award and has been shortlisted in the final for the last nine years. Ageas also picked up awards for ‘Transformational Deal of the Year’ for successfully integrating two insurance businesses, whilst Group CEO, Barry Smith picked up the ‘Achievement Award’ for a decade of strong and inspiring leadership within Ageas and the industry.
Jason Banwell, Managing Director, Kwik Fit Insurance Services was delighted to see us collect the awards and said: “I’m thrilled that we have won at the British Insurance Awards. We operate in a primarily online marketplace meaning it’s essential that we make it as simple as possible for our customers to purchase from us. This award is in recognition of that and particular credit goes to our Ecommerce and Marketing team who continue to innovate and improve our online capability.”
The ceremony was hosted at the Royal Albert Hall and was attended by more than 2000 insurance professionals and recognises the achievements of an industry that contributes significantly to both the UK and the local economy.
